About
Step, Ride, Thrive is a pilot project bringing together active travel, nature connection and community health and wellbeing. It aims to break down barriers to accessing the internationally important Avalon Marshes reserves, and has 3 key strands - cycling, walking and a pilot bus service. The project is led by 23 parishes within the Avalon and Poldens area, and is funded by a £35,000 grant from Somerset Council's Public Health team and the Somerset Association of Local Councils (SALC). The grant is administered via Glastonbury Town Council.
