Bus
Step, Ride, Thrive is funding a trial extension to the 668 bus service operated by Libra Travel until 31 August 2026. The service runs from Street to Shipham, and the bus stops at the Avalon Marshes Centre three times a day. The buses going to the marshes centre leave Street Library at 8.55am or 11.25am, and opposite Glastonbury Town Hall at 9.05am or 11.35am. There is one return journey at 13.33pm. The bus service is available Monday - Friday and the fare is £3 each way.

If you have used the bus service to the Avalon Marshes - or are planning to - please complete our short online survey. This will help us build a case for an ongoing bus service to the marshes, which could offer a weekend service and additional times.
