Discover Nature fortnight takes place between 18th - 31st May 2026. It aims to encourage more people to use active travel (cycling, walking and the 668 pilot bus service) so they can access nature at the Avalon Marshes reserves and in their local parishes. The Avalon Marshes are an internationally significant, 3,700 acre wetland landscape on our doorstep. We hope to inspire people of all ages through a range of talks, walks and activities across the local area. ​Please find details of events taking place below, and booking links.
